Del Monte Peach Chunks in Heavy Syrup (1/2 cup)
23 g sugars,100 calories, 0 g fat

“Peaches aren't bona fide junk food; they are, after all, still fruit. But why manufacturers feel the need to can, package, and bottle nature's candy with excess sugar is a question we will never stop asking. In this case, the viscous sugar solution clings to the fruit like syrup to a pancake, soaking every bite with utterly unnecessary calories. “
Dr. Garvey says “Normal healthy bacteria found in our mouths digest these sugars and the by product is acid which causes decay and gum disease. If you must have refined corn syrup, which is found in most canned foods, at least eat it fast and rince or brush after. You might also need to exercise to burn the unnecessary sticky stuff calories. Corn is over produced largely because it is subsidized by our government.”

Invisalign has become a very popular treatment option, among both teens and adults, for straightening teeth and correcting other dental problems, such as overbite and packed teeth. The reasons for its popularity range from the practical (trays are removable, you can continue to eat whatever you want) to the cosmetic (trays are virtually invisible, no chunky metal braces). But as with any orthodontic procedure, it is important that you choose an experienced, qualified orthodontist to design your Invisalign treatment. Before you begin wearing your Invisalign trays, your orthodontist will design a plan specifically for you to meet your unique goals. This plan may focus on straightening your teeth, improving tooth spacing, correcting an overbite or underbite, etc. Therefore it is crucial that the orthodontist you select has the knowledge and experience to develop your customized Invisalign plan. Invisalign programs typically last for a few months to a year, and cost a fair amount of money, so you want to be sure that your orthodontist creates a plan that will be successful and achieve your desired results. Talk with your orthodontist before getting started with Invisalign. Ask her/him what they recommend for your specific case. How long do they anticipate you will be wearing the Invisalign trays? Make sure that you feel comfortable with your orthodontist’s level of knowledge and experience before beginning your Invisalign treatment.Invisalign is a great orthodontic option for many people, but to get that beautiful smile you are hoping for, it pays to do a little legwork before getting started. An important part of this preparation is finding an experienced, knowledgeable orthodontist to help you. Taking the time to do this beforehand will pay off, as you will have straighter teeth and a healthier smile for years to come.Selecting an orthodonist in St. Charles and St. Peters is very important before you make the decision to get invisalign braces.
